The sacred ibis was one of sixteen graphite drawings commissioned by the Canadian Centre for Architecture in 2010 for use in the book Journeys: How travelling fruit, ideas, and buildings rearrange our environment. The book accompanied an exhibition by the same name.

The drawings appeared at the beginning of each chapter in the Journeys book. This Atlantic cod accompanied a story about the resettlement of fishing villages in Newfoundland.
