    This illustration is based on an Old English nursery rhyme. The number of crows seen together were thought to foretell the future. I'm still trying to figure out what number ten, extremity, means.

  • Good Luck Blackbirds, Agelaius phoeniceus & Xanthocephalus xanthocephalus
    According to folklore, blackbirds bring good luck if you dream of them flying, see two males together, or if one builds its nest on your house. On the left are Red-winged blackbirds. On the right are Yellow-headed blackbirds.
